In this article I am going to discuss 3 popular myths about making money with internet marketing and the reason I chose to write on this topic is because recently I've been seeing a lot of people being fed with these fallacies by some internet marketers out there who claim to be experts. Hard work is all it takes. Recently I've noticed this on many forums and internet marketing discussion groups that when a newbie rants about how they couldn't make any money after months of efforts, people who pose as experts try to tell them that they might not be working hard enough and are giving up too soon. Well, if making money with internet marketing was this hard then so many people wouldn't have been earning those millions in the first place. In fact it is quite easy to make money online if you know what you are doing. The trick is in learning the tricks from reliable sources. If you buy an e-book or a course that promises something that is too good to be true then it probably isn't true. The problem is that too many people waste their time by trusting pseudo-experts. Killer graphics is necessary for your website A simple website with as little distraction as possible is enough, a serious buyer doesn't care how cool graphics you have on your site unless you are selling a graphic design product or service obviously. Too much graphics and colors only reduce the attention span of your visitor and subsequently lose you sales. Graphics is the last thing that you want to rely on if you want to make money with internet marketing. The more the traffic the better the conversion Traffic is everything for an internet marketer. In the whole idea of making money with internet marketing, traffic is crucial. But that's not all there is to it -- people will tell you to buy traffic, place ads at forums and social networking sites and get as much traffic as you can -- but the reality is that all the traffic in the world is not going to make any difference if you are not getting targeted traffic. Find out where your target market hangs out and look for methods to promote your product there, bid on keywords that are most targeted if you are promoting an acne treatment product, "beauty cream" is not your targeted keyword, and bidding on it would just waste your money.
