Million dollar marketing coach for women entrepreneurs, and award-winning small business expert, Kendall SummerHawk, knows the power of the written word. Kendall's other tips include checking your mood and eliminating procrastination. "Writing is a form of energy. If you're cranky, stressed or distracted chances are good those feelings will make your writing project tougher to complete," she says. "I love to play beautiful music while I write. Music is so uplifting and helps your brain click into that place of possibility and magic that becomes the source of all great writing."

On the topic of procrastination, Kendall advises, "Don't wait to be in the mood for writing, otherwise you'll likely wait forever." Instead, Kendall schedules writing into her weekly routine and sets strict deadlines for herself. She says doing this will quickly train anyone to think creatively and write well during these time blocks.
