What a wonderful time to be alive on planet earth! If you are not Celebrating life, perhaps, today’s letter will help in some way.

Today I want you to take inventory and examine your life. Sometimes we work so hard at making a living until we tend to forget how to live.

We are a people of spectacular origin. We are created in the image and likeness of Almighty God. We come in in a variety of colors, shapes and sizes.

No two are alike; even twins have their differences.

Yet, there are some people that are drawn together like an invisible power source and energy. It happens.

It is as though you have known each other forever. It is an alignment of spirit to spirit where the Holy Spirit has free reign to lead, guide, and teach us into all truth, for divine purpose.

Well, today, I am drawn to all of you, ha! I feel the frustration and pain you are carrying…Whew! The good news is that you can unload every care and burden, but not on me, ha!

It is placing the mind of Christ First Place above anyone or anything. It is deciding to love God more than anyone or anything.

I went through life thinking I just had to be perfect; had to please Everyone and had to impress others for them to like me.

I willingly gave up my soul to others, in hopes of love in return. Well, 21 years and two children later, everyone had a piece of me, Except God!

I had loss everything I had ever touched…everything I thought and considered meaningful…been there; done that…moved on.

I woke up in pain and cried myself to sleep. I blamed my self for doing it all wrong; and punished myself for wanting to make amends.

I was broke, lost and depressed; even though I had confessed Jesus as Lord.

What was wrong? How did I end up in such a mess?

I felt that I had to prove to others that I was somebody. The truth is, none of us become somebody, all by ourselves.

First Place put Jesus where He belongs in our lives. He makes us somebody. Until then, we merely exist as the walking dead.

We eat and breathe; but there is no life within us. He makes us come alive. He makes us sing! He makes us break out in a dance.

You may be searching for the winning formula; the one thing that will change your life, forever. Well, here it is! Put God First.

Place Him on your schedule and in your thoughts before making your plans. Consider this guaranteed method of daily living: Put on the Lord Jesus.

Wear Him as though you are clothed with the word; the mind of Christ and the promises of God.

Bathe in meditations and prayers; offering yourself as a living sacrifice.

Allow the One who created you to put you back together. He knows Every strand of hair on your head. He has you etched in the palm of His hand.

He has promised to keep your heart and mind, as long as they both were kept focused on Him.

He offers new mercy and grace, every morning. You need not walk this life with baggage and the worries, we often inflict upon ourselves.

Listen, recover yourself; snap out of the cycle of abuse. Take authority Over your situations and circumstances. You can decide to continue to be the victim or you can make up your mind to become victorious.

Only you can choose. No one else can decide for you, not even, God, Himself.

No matter what or who comes or goes in your life; you are in position to win, as long as your belief system includes Placing God First. Do you understand?

It’s not him or her or them; it’s just you and God, now. What are you going to do…

We are not immune to hardships; however, we have the advantage. No woman Or man or child can replace God in your life.

I hope you are better able to see a way to get back in the flow of things.

God has promised to never leave or forsake us; or put more on us, than we can bear.

Want a life? Want a better life and trade in the old? Begin to put God First Place in your life. It’s a matter of the heart. When you love and respect someone, usually you pay attention to him or her, yes?

Well, Jesus has laid His life down for you by way of Calvary. He has proven He loves you beyond measure or reason. He died, went to hell to pay for your sin and was Resurrected. He is alive and well. He knows about pain, trials and tribulations. His word to you is to be of good cheer because He has overcome the world.

I would admonish you to find your way back to the land of the living; a life of joy along with peace and some order in your household; simply make up your mind and say it like you mean it, ha!
