Having a Vision is Crucial to Succeed in Your Home Based Businessby Karilyn Arias Send Feedback to Karilyn Arias starting a home based businessMore Details about starting a home based business here.
All the top successful entrepreneurs, politicians, ministers, and parents, started their career to success with a vision. But what is a vision? According to Dictionary.com the kind of vision I am talking about is "a vivid, imaginative conception or anticipation: visions of wealth and glory; the act or power of anticipating that which will or may come to be: prophetic vision; the vision of an entrepreneur." So you see, in order for you to have a perception of what you want to accomplish, you first had an image of that which almost seemed as tangible as if it was actually happening right there at that moment. The question that you along with thousands of others may have asked yourselves is "what is my vision?", or "how do I know if I have a vision?". Have you ever been in a place or situation in which all of a sudden you start having a burning sensation in your heart, like an urgency, a sense of fire, that is making you excited, hopeful, and even joyful, well, that is it, you just got yourself a vision about something that you want to do with your home business or with your current financial situation. The next step is to put that vision in action: 1. Write It Down: If you do not write your business vision down, then it will take you time to reach it or else, it will just disappear. Remember, if you do not see it, then you will forget it. You write your vision by creating a map or like some people call it a, strategic plan. This will help you to remind yourself from time to time why did you start your home business, and will give you again focus and direction to where you want to go with it. 2. Believe in your vision, have faith in it, and above all nourish the passion that created that vision. 3. Gather All The Resources: By learning and gaining knowledge on the business that you want to have, you will add value to it. 4. Network: We are living in the information age, you must keep yourself connected to other entrepreneurs, home business owners, and the most important, the people in your business: your customers, members, or clients whichever is your case. There is no business if there are no people involved; what you do in life should be to bless others, to encourage others, to give to others, and to serve others; remember, you reap what you sow. 5. Affirmations: Last but not least, affirmations; there is power in words. Your words are linked to your heart, and your heart is linked to your brain. Therefore, you must maintain positive words in your vocabulary to keep you focused on your vision. You must repeat words of affirmation on a day to day basis on what you want to accomplish with your business, and above all on whom you want to become as an individual. The above are some ways to put your business vision in action, once you apply them you will start to see success arrive in your financial life and to your life in general. Do not make the mistake of starting or carrying on with your home business without having a true and clear vision, or else you will waste your time and money. The truth is that having and working on your vision will open the way for you to accomplish the things that you desire, give you sense of direction in reaching your goals, and above all it will give you satisfaction that you are fulfilling your purpose, which is what we are all called to do, and that is what I call success. Here is a perfect example on how to put your vision in action: starting a home based business.
