First you will need to find a highly searched question which is relevant to your sites content.

Some examples of highly searched questions:

How to lose weight

How to paint

How to knit

How to write a letter

How to invest

How to write a book

How to make a website

How to save money

When is mother's day

Things to do when bored

When to plant

Where to live

Why do golf balls have dimples

Why do muscles get soar

Why recycle paper

Why should I quit smoking

These are just a few of thousands of good, highly searched questions, some of which are searched ten's of thousands of times each and every month.

You can try different questions which pertain to your website content by using a free tool at Google, https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal Don't forget to only select questions that are highly searched and relevant to your web site content.

Now before I go on, I want you to understand this technique offers a two fold result.

First, you want to be listed in the top ten search engine results under your keywords, which is a highly searched question. Secondly you want your listing to stand out above the rest of the listings, subconsciously, to the average web surfer.

Here is how to make money online taking advantage of both in one simple process.

As you have probably already heard, writing articles and submitting to online article submission databases can increase unique visitors to your web site as well as sales. This is absolutely true as long as the article pertains to something that is relevant to your web site theme.

Once you have found a question or two to possibly use, go to http://Google.com and type in the exact question in the search box and submit.

What you will see in most cases, only one or two search result listings if any even match this exact phrase. The less results displayed matching the exact question phrase the better for our purposes here.

For Example, if you were to search under Why should I quit smoking, look to see how many of the displayed results match the search phrase, why should I quit smoking; exactly, without any additional words...

Once you have selected a question to answer, which is relevant to your website, simply apply the question to the title of the article you intend to write.

Use the exact question as the title to your article, do not deviate from this.

For example, if you are going to write an article on why people should quit smoking or the benefits one gains by quitting smoking... Your title should be "Why Should I Quit Smoking".

Do NOT add or delete any words from the question when applying to the title of your article.

Secondly you will need to write a one to three sentence introduction which includes your exact title in either the first or second sentence of your intro. Some article submission web sites and search engines will list your introduction under your title. Make this catchy as well as relevant...

You might write something like...

Get the pro's and con's on why should I quite smoking today.

Finally, write a well thought out article, being sure to answer the question of your article title.

When writing your article, keep in mind to use the keywords in your title when possible without spamming your own article. In other words, do not write keywords from your title in every sentence nor every paragraph, but rather only apply when suited throughout your article.

Be sure to write a short BIO, up to five sentences, explaining yourself in the third person as well as leaving a link to your website.

EX: John Smith has been helping others kick the habit of smoking. John uses all natural techniques, without the usual cravings for food normally associated with weight gain when kicking the habit. For more useful information visit http://Stop-Me-Before-I-Smoke-Another-One.com (should be your domain here).

Once you have accomplished this task, you will need to submit to article databases.

Some article submission sites will also allow the use of keywords. In these cases use the keywords of your exact title phrase.

Now, as I mentioned, this article on how to make money online is two fold.

When most surfers use a search engine and type in a specific question, they are looking for a specific answer. Usually, under many listings, the most click through's will take place on the same phrase used to search.

For example, if I listed my article under How to Make Money Online, and on the results page you see a listing titled, "How to Make Money Online" and another listing for "Make Money Online on Squidoo". which one better answers the question. Which one would you more likely click on?

This is one reason why I stressed earlier, to use an exact question of a highly searched question phrase as your title, to increase the click through ratio, hence to increase your online sales.

After a few weeks from submitting your article, you should see your article begin appearing in some search engines, under the exact question you used as the title. If you follow the above techniques, you will most likely see your article near the top since you have written a relevant article, answering the specific question.
