I trust that you are doing great on this beautiful first Friday of April 2005. If not, perhaps today’s letter may shed some light on your situation and you, too, can celebrate and rejoice in the Lord. ...remember you are not a fool just because the holiday says so.
Some of you are facing tremendous obstacles and circumstances. We want to encourage you to continue to worship and served God, regardless of what things may look like, in the natural.
We often time tend to get a little fearful and focus on the problem rather than the solution. Today we will give a partial listing of problems most of us are usually facing. At the very end the one solution and answer is given to satisfy each problem.
I am led to do it this way so we all can see the power of God within. Ready?
Strap up…. let’s ride! Ha! These are random prayer request…most I have prayed for others or myself…so; no one in particular is being targeted, okay.
“I need prayer for harmony with a neighbor.” “I need prayer that my home always be safe from intruders.” “I need prayer for a loved one and me to loose weight.” “I need prayer for special health problems” “I need prayer that I get my driver’s license.” “I need prayer to have peace and be financially well off during my years of retirement.”
“I need prayer that I may obtain strength to cope and move forward.” “I need prayer to get my green card.” “I need prayer to overcome the fear of abuse so I may get out.” “I need prayer for a financial blessing to come today.” “I need prayer to learn how to communicate better with my spouse.” “I need prayer for relief from all this stress.”
“I need prayer that I may overcome spirits of bitterness and anger.” “I need prayer to have some household items repaired.” “I need prayer that I may be released from jail soon.” “I need prayer that my family personal problems will improve.” “I need prayer for my parents to treat each other with love and respect.” “I need prayer for joy and peace in my life.”
“I need prayer that God will bless my Mom and Dad.” “I need prayer for the perfect affordable home.” “I need prayer for divine favor and policy change for my good.” “I need prayer that my daughter’s boyfriend…soon to marry…will not mistreat her.” “I need prayer that my baby’s daddy will do more to support our child”
“I need prayer for healing of Aids.” “I need prayer for comfort for the loss of a family pet.” “I need prayer that I am accepted for disability assistance.” “I need prayer that I be accepted to college.” “I need prayer that my case will be settled out of court.” “I need prayer that my heart be pure and my motives right.”
“I need prayer that school tuition to be provided for me.” “I need prayer for our family to get out of debt.” “I need prayer that my husband and I may conceive and have a baby.” “I need prayer that my dad will show up to come get me this week end.” “I need prayer that my siblings will assist me with care giving.” “I need prayer that my ex will return my household items.”
“I need prayer to accept my racial background of being part black and white..I hate what I am..." “I need prayer to forgive the person who tricked me to get hooked on drugs.” “I need prayer to be a good spouse and parent to my family.” “I need prayer to forgive myself for making such poor choices.”
The one answer and solution to each of the above or any other prayer request is found in 1 John 4:4, which says, “You dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.” (NIV)
In other words, in order for any of us to live the victorious and abundant life promised in the Word of God, we must think less of what is facing us on the outside; things hanging over us to kill, steal and destroy our faith in God’s ability to deliver us.
John 10:10 say that the thief comes only to kill and steal and destroy. The last part of the verse says this: “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” (NIV)
We must rather; focus more on the power of Christ within us. Look with! His word has final authority. Everything else must bow down to His authority. There is no middle ground, other than the choice to choose not to believe.
Therefore, Ambassadors, find scriptures that specifically address your situation and apply the Word of God: Speak it; meditate on it; believe it by faith; and receive it by knowing He told you the truth!
Do not allow situations and circumstances to eat away your confidence in God’s ability to help you…no matter WHAT you have done in the past.
Today is a New Day! Full of new mercy and grace, just for you!
I have lived long enough to experience all types of circumstances. The Word of God has always come through for me, when I took responsibility to do what it says to do.
The Word of God can and will do it just for you…your beautiful face! Your blessed and anointed self, ha!
It is a matter of how you think and process the information you both see and hear. What are you seeing? Is it correct? ...Ummmmm....
Faith, in God, comes by hearing the Word of God, by which hearing…brings faith with it. If you choose to listen and hear Him; faith to believe and receive your answer will come. The peace of God comes with it. Both, assurance and confirmation will come!
If you choose to listen and hear; and then mix other things with it; your faith may become weakened…it may appear close, however, you may feel empty and full of anxiety…trying to get faith to believe…. there is a vast difference.
God created you. Listen to Him. He guarantees His Word will work for anything He sends it to accomplish, without fail. He promised and cannot lie. Hold on, there's more, ha!
Here, read it for yourself: “So my word that goes out from my mouth: it will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.” (NIV)
And here, Jeremiah 1:12 put it this way, “You have seen correctly, for I am watching to see that my word is fulfilled.” Ha! Ha! Ha!
You see, I am not making this up. The Word of God is most powerful when believed and spoken in confidence. For you must know and have confidence in God, the Author of The Promises, yes!
Well, it has been a cool and fun ride today. We have touched a variety of areas where God’s Word will supply, answer, deliver and rescue you from anything that may be facing you.
I trust that you are now in position to celebrate every day from this day forward…based on the power of Christ within you.
Keep it real and full of love!
