On the other end of the purchased leads spectrum are the cheapies.... the ones that are barely even leads at all. These can be anything from old downline lists from companies that are no longer in business or names and emails of people who once entered their contact info on a web site even years ago. Your other choice is targeted MLM leads. These are people looking NOW for more information about YOUR business opportunity and you generate them yourself. The easiest way to acquire these leads is to place ads that show the benefits of your product or service so people respond to learn more. You might even offer to give a sample or free trial. When a person responds to your ad they are now a "targeted MLM lead". You won't get any finer leads than people who are specifically looking for information on what you have to offer. Remember though -- this "targeted MLM lead" is just that -- still a lead. You have to educate them on the benefits of your opportunity or products -- and they need to get to know you personally if you intend to have a long term business relationship. The best way to get started in this process is to use a tool called an AUTORESPONDER. An autoresponder is simply software that will send a series of emails to your new leads so that they can get comfortable with you and whatever network marketing company or product you are promoting. You can get your autoresponders for less than $20 per month and this will give you many message series as you need for that one low price. You may have your first letter set for business opportunity seekers, several others set for your products, another as a training series for those who join your MLM businesses or a set for ongoing education on your product line. There is no limit! With an autoresponder, you can personalize your messages any way you want. Some will let you address each person by their first name in both the letter and the subject line so the emails appear to be more personal and less likely viewed as spam. You can also add your phone number -- if people call you it is often a sign that they are ready to get started in your MLM business now. You might choose to send a message every day for a while, then every few days and then on a weekly basis until the prospect either signs up, becomes a customer - or removes himself from your information series. Autoresponders protect you from spam complaints as people who answer your ads must also click a confirmation link sent to their email address, to "double opt in"... proof that they requested your information. They can also "opt out" at any time, just by clicking a link at the bottom of every message your autoresponder sends out. People spend millions of dollars on internet advertising each year because it works. It brings people together for mutual benefit. So, purchase leads or generate MLM targeted leads yourself -- it's your choice -- but get started now on owning your piece of the internet business market today!
