KDF Installs Historic Photographic Series at Palisades Center

KDF recently installed the first phase of a two-part historical photographic exhibit called “A Snapshot in Time – Pictorial Moments in Rockland History” at the Palisades Center shopping mall.

Tweet This Rockleigh, NJ (KDF) 12/21/10: KDF Reprographics, Inc. of Rockleigh, NJ has just installed the first phase of a two-part historical photographic exhibit called "A Snapshot in Time -- Pictorial Moments in Rockland History", which recently opened at the Palisades Center shopping mall. The exhibit, created from photos held by the Historical Society of Rockland County, depicts various aspects of life in the area from the year 1880 through the 1960's.

Included in this first installation are the categories titled "Transportation" and "Off-Beat". Phase two, scheduled to be installed next year, will include the additional categories "Sports", "4 Seasons", "Protect and Serve" and "Disasters".

"This has been a rewarding project to work on, " said Stephen Hoey, President of KDF , the large format color graphics firm, based in Rockleigh, NJ that installed the mural. "It gives you this voyeuristic glimpse into local life across the span of almost a century."

LeeMarie Dell'Accio, Director of Marketing at the Palisades Center, said "We are excited to be a part of this exhibit, which gives everyone an opportunity to learn more about early life in the community. I'm sure many visitors to the Center will be interested in going up to see it".

Those who wish to view phase one of the installation will find it on the fourth floor of the Palisades Center, just outside of the ice skating rink and community meeting rooms.
