Citizens Bank Park offers exciting ballpark adventure for fans of all ages, from the Phanatic Shoe Slide for children ages 4 to 9 to guests of all ages running the bases to Sunday Starting Nine which allows randomly selected children under 14 to stand on the field with the starting nine Phillies during the National Anthem.
When it comes to National League Championships, the Philadelphia Phillies are no strangers. More than just team champs, the Philadelphia Phillies second basement Chase Utley recently won the National League Silver Slugger Award for the fourth time. Each of the last four seasons since 2009, Utley, 30, has taken home this much-deserved recognition. Utley is in line behind Ryne Sandberg, who took home the award five years in a row, and Mike Schmidt who won it a total of six times (not consecutively). Utley's 2009 runs, on-base percentage, slugging percent and extra-base hits put him ahead as leader of the pack for all National League second basemen.
