I mentioned this because when I compare my frustration or problems I have in my network business all I have to do is remember those families that are now in a house I help build and most of my problems seems small. Problems are everywhere and we all have them. Problems are inescapable and if you are in MLM or network business you know how frustrating it can become. However, our prospective on the problems will determine our response. Zig Zigler once said the winds of opportunity or winds of problems blows against all of us it is the set of your sails that will determine how you ride it out. One reason problem solving is so difficult is that we are too close to the problems to understand them. John Galsworthy said "Idealism increases in the direction proportion to one's distance from the problems. In essence, I realized I needed to step back from the problems so I could think more clearly and literally get a fresher look at it. Take a day or two, go for a work but by all means take a break, if you can, from the issue and re-evaluate it differently. Don't be a problem spotter like I was. Problem spotters are the ones who only see problems and never see opportunities in those problems. John C Maxwell says "problems are a wake call for opportunities." How to handle problems: Recognize the problem for what it is. A problem is a temporary pause in you going forward in pursuing your dream of owning your own business. It is very difficult to have a better tomorrow while focusing on yesterday. As I have learned I must focus on what I am learning and not what I am losing. Write down 3-4 ways you can solve your problems and put it away for a day and come back to it and you will find the problems are easily solvable. John C Maxwell tells a story of a woman who was arrested for killing her 3rd husband. When the women was asked how did her first husband died she replied, "He died of mushroom poisoning." When asked of her second husband death she replied again, he died of mushroom poisoning. When the officer asked of the third husband she replied, "He died of a concussion. The officer paused for a moment and asked the woman, ‘how did that happen? She replied he would not eat the mushrooms! You see there are many ways to solve problems it just takes some time to come up with the right strategy.
