Why Is An Ebook The Perfect Product
Why Is An Ebook The Perfect Product?

How many times have you searched for something on the internet, only to get
to a website that has the information you need or want, but you must pay for it?
It happens all the time.
Do you spend a lot of time on this website once you find out that you have to
pay for something? I certainly don't. But if the website offers me something
free as well, I will go back and back to that website, until eventually I buy
the product.
So you want to sell your ebook, but don't push too hard, make your website
about a theme, not just about selling your ebook. If your ebook is about travel,
then make a website about your favourite places in the world, with pictures, and
then sell your ebook.
The more the customer gets to know you, and find out that you know what you
are talking about, the more likely he or she is to buy your product. Think about
it, would you ever buy a washing machine without knowing what brand it is, or
who is selling it, or what it can do? No, of course not, but if someone you know
and trust is using this washing machine, and vouches for it, then you probably
will consider buying this washing machine even though you don't know a thing
about it.
So allow your audience to get to know you. Then you don't have to turn them
into a customer, or send them a fancy sales letter; they will turn themselves
into loyal customers. (Unless of course you're selling an awful product or
ebook, something completely worthless).
To write an ebook also means no start-up costs (unless you want to buy an
ebook compiler, a program that allows you to write a book, and password protect
it, but there are other ways to do it), so every sale is almost pure profit.
You can write about anything you want, anything that interests you. Maybe
something you know a lot about already, or just something that grabs your
attention. As long as you don't copy someone else's work, you can use the
Internet to do the research, or buy books at your favorite bookshop, or take a
course. Just remember, don't copy someone else's work, or you might end up in
prison or being fined very heavily.
Think about what you do at work. Is there anything that you do without
thinking that someone else might want to know? Or maybe you know how to fix a
leaking tap. Whatever it is, write about it.
It's probably easiest to write about something you enjoy doing, maybe a hobby
you have. Perhaps you play golf or some other sport. Even then. there are a lot
of different angles from which to write.
Take golf, for example, you can write about the clubs, about technique, or about how to keep the green in a perfect condition. You can write a collection
of jokes that involve golf, or maybe about the great golfers of the 20th
century, like Jack Nicholson and Gary Player. You can even write a book about
how to run a successful 19th hole, THE BAR.
Or you could write a complete guide to golfing that includes ALL of those.
Maybe you know something about beauty products, write a guide that explains
the different types of skin, which kinds of products works better on certain
skin types. Even recommend a few products. I'm currently looking for a facial
cream because my skin is extremely dry, but I'm having problems choosing between
the 20489 products on the market.
Compare certain products with others and publish the results.
So you see, there are many items or topics to write about, as well as many different
ways to write about one topic. As stupid as it sounds, just sit down and start
writing. Afterwards, when you read it through you can do a spell check or change
the grammar.
For now, just START! It's not as difficult as you think! You'll see.
