Aubrey “Allen” Smith is the author of the first and original Truth About Trucking and How to Guarantee a 'Perfect' Move. A thirty year veteran of the trucking industry and having accumulated nearly three million safe miles, he is an expert in the field of transportation. Allen has also owned and operated several successful businesses related to the trucking industry. He was introduced to the trucking industry at the young age of 10 years, and grew up in the household goods moving business, eventually transferring over to the freight industry. While in college where he pursued a degree in Business, he continued working in trucking as a manager/supervisor overseeing all aspects of the business. Responsible for multi-million dollar budgets and hiring and training sales personnel, etc., he has played a role in nearly every aspect of the trucking industry.
As he observed the mis-guidance and scams of the transportation business, he eventually penned the original Truth About Trucking eBook to assist those new to the industry in what to expect with a career in trucking. His information also shows how to make trucking work as a chosen profession and provides links to some of the best jobs in trucking.
His top priority is to assist those looking into trucking as a career, to know about the scams and what to look for before signing on with a motor carrier. Back in his home state of Oklahoma, Allen is known by his friends as having coined the phrase by which he still lives by today : "There is only right and wrong, and nothing in between."
