Exploring the Galapogas Islands

Going in another country is quite difficult to most of us especially when your own home is your comfort zone. But this can be a very educational experience for anyone ready and willing to set sail and travel. The mere excitement of being exposed to other people and to learn and experience their customs and culture can really be quite an experience for you especially if this is your first time to traveling abroad.

Setting sail on a cruise is best if you plan to visit a place that you will really enjoy, especially if you are a nature lover who likes islands. If you are then set sail and stop on the island of Galapagos.

Galapagos Island is just six hundred miles off the coast of Ecuador, and traveling to this place will let you discover some of the fascinating islands with their rich variety of landscapes, interesting lava formations, vast sandy beaches, and remarkable fearless animals. It is truly natural beauty!

All Galapagos cruise ships are anchored on each island of destination and passengers are ferried to the landing point in small boats called pangas (dinghies).  The cruise lines usually have their own designated paths on Islands walks.  They are accompanied with naturalist guides, where the visiting tourist can snorkel, swim or simply lay on the beaches and relax.    The Islands of Galapagos are famous for their unique plant life and vast number of endemic species such as red and blue-footed boobies, frigate birds, and giant colorful tortoises, marine and land iguanas that grow to be about 5 feet long. A cruise that includes these islands will be something you will remember and enjoy for years to come, because it is one paradise that you will surely remember.
