Introduction

This book is designed to give you simple, clear, and concise information on how to implement and create multiple income streams that will smooth out your cash flow and give security to your business. Included are clear examples of how I or my clients have implemented these principles in real life.

My goal here is to save you the time and money that you’d otherwise waste through experimentation and trial and error by sharing with you what I’ve learned in 15 years of business. If “by their fruits you shall know them” holds, then the proof or fruit that what I’m telling you is true is in the fact that when my friends and associates struggled and went bankrupt as a result of the “dot com crash” in 2000-2001, my business actually grew and has continued to grow steadily since.

My secret? I didn’t put all my eggs in one basket. I had multiple income streams in place and it made all the difference. Over the course of several years, whenever I felt inspired with a new idea, I’d follow through on it and create a new profit center. Any honest effort in explaining my success could not be fully told without one important ingredient that has made all the difference for me, and that is a basic belief system about life and business. So, before introducing the more practical principles of creating multiple income streams, I give you the underlying belief system or foundation for success:

• Know who you are – know your mission and what you’re about. Keep that in mind in all that you do and measure every choice against it. But also, be willing to grow into someone different than you originally thought. 

• Listen and act immediately upon your strokes of inspiration.

• Don’t be afraid to step out into the darkness. You don’t have to have all your ducks in a row or everything perfect to begin. Just do something – the next logical step – to make your idea a reality and the way will open for you.

• Give to everyone more in use value than you take from them in cash value. Make every transaction a win-win!

• Stay connected to your Power Source through gratitude. Be grateful for everything you receive – for every sale, every idea, every new friend or associate, every new tool or resource. All of it comes from God. Acknowledge this fact and more will continue to flow your way.

• Don’t be afraid to work with others. Networking and joint ventures expand your world and the possibilities of your work like nothing else will.
